There had not be a single member of the GOP that votes for this traitor.

If any do, we must see to it that they are GONE in their next primary.

DeMint should get in touch with him and send him a list of South Carolinians who want his job.

Traitors. Not just to Conservatives and the GOP, but to the United States of America.

Hagel is NOT qualified. He is the WRONG man for the job for so many very valid reasons... any one of which should disqualify him.

And Republicans have no backbone.

I think the “Party of Stupid” is definitely the appropriate title!

In real terms there are two options open to the Republicans.

The first is to defeat him, really for no other reason than to give Obama a “loss”, to punish him for his other vices. This would cost the Republicans nothing.

The second option is the one they will probably choose, which is to get him to promise them things in such a way that he cannot renege. This has pretty well become meaningless because Obama and his people do not keep promises.

Their rationalization for this is that he used to be a Republican, so he wouldn’t utterly devastate the DOD, like many Democrats would. That’s hooey and they know it.

You speak treason against the king. He must maintain the appearance of an opposition, so as to pass on his kingdom to his elder daughter. But you insist that they actively oppose? Treason. Have at thee, knave./sarc?

Would be nice if we could actually follow through - history says they get away with it and we keep making idle threats.

Oh, please! How do you intend to do that?

I identify with your viewpoint and zeal, but the Maine twins are NOT going away to be replace with someone MORE conservative then they can be construed to be "conservative."
