Then you should call yourself a Christian, not a Jew. Why, exactly? Wasn't the term "Christian" coined by Roman pagans?
Was or was not Jesus a Jew? And can the servant be greater than the master?

According to Acts 11.26, the disciples were first called "Christians" in Antioch, but it doesn't identify who first called them that. Antioch was founded by the Greek-speaking Seleucid kings and probably had many Greek speakers (possibly some Aramaic-speakers) and few Latin speakers, but the ending of the name Christianoi looks more Latin than Greek.
