I watched some of the ABC round table this am with George Will et al. and was struck with just how out of sync I am with any of these people - whether it's the pundits or the politicians. They are the ruling class; we are the ruled.

I'm sitting there thinking - then why do they bother to have hearings? The fact is - there is NO point to these hearings except to pretend they are doing due diligence, get a few sounds bites in for their next election. It is disgusting. >
