How arrogant and self-serving. I understand your point completely -- I just don't agree with you. Of course, I don't expect you to understand that distinction.
Both of you could have stopped short of going at each others throat, but neither has. Is the ‘stand together’ of Glen Beck’s message not clear enough for you or nonsporting? ... Can you not refrain from focusing on the minor glitch in a fellow Freeper’s assertion, in order to accentuate the positive in the post? Give it a try, it is how ‘standing together’ for liberty gets rolling.
[In the interest of full disclosure: I am a friend of Glen Beck, but not of Mormonism.]
I don’t know how you can ignore the call for “spiritual renewal” and not be disturbed by it. It is not arrogance but a recognition of ignorance or willful disobedience.
“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14)
Beck, a Mormon, was calling for spiritual renewal. What spirit? Some blasphemous ecumenical alignment. I think not. I’ll fight for freedom, but not some false common spiritual ground with Satanic systems.
