This disgraceful behavior by the Administration and Obama personally show just how little power Congress seems to have against the Muslim in Chief. There should have been hard hitting hearings and specific findings and legislative directives rather than the Administration's self serving findings that never mention Islam and Hasan's religious motivations and animus against non-Muslims.
It’s far worse than just an “animus against non-Muslims.” It’s animus against the United States and the best this country stands for, animus provoked by and totally concurrent with his Muslim beliefs and much of Islam itself. Thus, his mass murder of American service people was a direct, deliberate, motivated attack on the United States and an act of war by an entirely sane, totally evil fanatic. He deserves nothing less than to be prosecuted for treason, sentenced to death, and executed. It’s impossible to find a stronger treason case. After all, the evidence against Timnothy McVeigh was almost entirely circumstantial, although compellingly strong, and he was properly tried, sentenced, and executed within six years.
