The gun free zone bill written by Joe Biden was instrumental in giving school shooters protection that might last up to hours. The rate of school shootings went up by 5 times immediately after it was passed and signed into law and the rate has stayed their.
Get rid of it and arm the teachers and staff.
Our children have been, for many years, on the receiving end of “Guns Are Bad” from their teachers in school yet in a recent survey 60 or 70% of those under thirty said they were planning to buy a firearm.
I think it is the effect of video games. I have opposed them for years but now I am not so sure about my position as it appears to have created a generation which will protect the right to keep and bear arms.
Correlation != Causation.
I suspect a better one to graph would be the mind-altering (Prozac/etc.) drugs and behavior/shooting. I’d bet dollars to doughnuts there’s a strong link there instead of anyplace else.
Those numbers produced by Dave Grossman were based on extremely flawed and skewed data - more recent historical research has shown those statics to have been incorrect.
