Now, in retrospect, after we were told by this guy and the media for this whole time that he was the 2nd coming of Jack Bauer and Jason Bourne rolled together with Dolamyte, it turns out he wasn’t that bright at all. He stranded himself on a mountain with only 2 highways in and out, in a non urban setting where a massive black guy was easily identifiable, and apparently didn’t plan on having a hideout since he did multiple home invasions, the last time to an abandoned house, after burning down his own mode of transportation like a signal fire in the area he was hiding in, when burying it in the snow, sinking it in a lake or pushing it over a cliff would have been available to him.
In addition, he apparently wasn’t much of a survivalist, because it would be very easy to get lost in the mountains. while it gets cold there, the conditions aren’t particularly harsh and that area has a lot of “weekender” type cabins that would have allowed him to break in and forage for food once per week or so.
You make great points. I can’t figure why he went there without a better plan beforehand. Burning the truck makes no sense
