Dorner is scum. His recourse was the court, not murder. He is foul and deserves NO sympathy.
It may be true that he is a scum bag that took the wrong option, but that does not mean that the corruption in the system did not make him go over that edge in the first place.
You can shaft people and get away with it most of the time. That is why systems like that do it. But once in a while, you pick the wrong person to drill, and he will go medieval on you a$$.
What he is doing does not negate the fact that they, and they alone, created their own worst enemy.

The only one who causes a murderer to kill is the murderer himself. Dorner is no victim.

His “going over the edge” proves that the LAPD was right to fire him. He proved to be unstable and dangerous. If anything, he proved that the LAPD does a poor job of hiring people because they hired him.
