Not saying it was the case with you, but having recently moved to MD I was shocked at the level of trust that local gunowners formerly afforded the Democrats. There was wink-and-nudge talk in the gunshop about how thus-and-so donk politician or police official was secretly “on our side” and how the gun control talk in the platform was just rah-rah for the lib base. Wrong, wrong, wrong!

I had the same feeling over overall trust in government when I moved here. It is astounding how much people here are inoculated to government intrusion like it’s a good thing. News flash-It’s not.

I was literally indifferent wrt my own 2nd amendment rights. I didnt own any weapon at all but didnt want anyone messing with my choice should I decide in favor of.

The man child has forced my hand ...

He forced me to educate myself, take appropriate measures to protect myself and my family ... and I found a new hobbie that is actually an "adult" hobby ... not like xbox with the kids.
