Ron Paul Smears An American Hero

That former Congressman and GOP presidential hopeful Ron Paul would smear an American hero like Chris Kyle following his death speaks a great deal to his character or lack thereof.
Yesterday, Paul sent out a Tweet which read:
Chris Kyles death seems to confirm that he who lives by the sword dies by the sword. Treating PTSD at a firing range doesnt make sense.
It makes you wonder if these were the sort of letters Paul sent to the families of fallen soldiers who resided in his district. Needless to say, this justly provoked outrage. Glenn Beck described Paul as the newest member of the Westboro Baptist Church. Paul should have thanked Kyle for his service to his country and then kept his goddamn mouth shut. A few hours later, Paul took to Facebook. Try as he much he couldnt resist jumping on his soapbox:
As a veteran, I certainly recognize that this weekends violence and killing of Chris Kyle were a tragic and sad. My condelences and prayers go out to Mr. Kyles family. Unconstitutional and unnecessary wars have endless unintended consequences. A policy of non-violence, as Christ preached, would have prevented this and similar tragedies.
Pauls first two sentences could have atoned for his Tweet. But he just had to jump on his soapbox. Blaming Kyles death on unconstitutional and unnecessary wars is no better than Obama and company blaming the Sandy Hook massacre on insufficient gun control.
A word of advice to Ron Paul. You might want to avoid Navy SEAL bars. There will be a lineup of guys waiting to pop you in the jaw just like Kyle did to Jesse Ventura after the former Minnesota Governor dissed the SEALS. Yeah, I know Ventura says it never happened and sued Kyle.

It was only a short time ago that I watched an interview of this young author and veteran. His death was a shock to me.
However, I realize that this country is turning into a police state, with all this worship of the powers of the government enforcers. Defend the country, not the world.
What Obama's America is all about is 'giving' a billion dollars (that the government borrows) to Egypt to rebuild their sewer system. Meanwhile our elite political class thrives, swims and lives in a sewer.
Face it fellow conservatives most of the politicians and Obama who continually write regulations and laws to complete our ruination are generally sewer rats who couldn't succeed outside of government!

It did happen. Real Seal Chris Kyle knocked fake Seal and Vietnam vet wannabe Jesse the loudmouth Ventura flat on his ass. It was witnessed by many. Loudmouth would have lost in court.

A good question is where do the Paul supporters stand on Dr. Paul’s words?

Rand Paul’s politics are just like the old man but he’s too scared to admit it. He’s a big time hypocrite.

This interview systematically destroys the American Spectator points. I found it quite compelling. One of the more striking points is that Chris Kyle was actively working to train domestic troops via his firm, Craft International
http://www.thecraft.com/ , troops that will be used by the government (regardless of whether the POTUS is Obama or a Republican), to enforce the very type of state power that so many on here despise.

Latinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... [and the buried lead] "Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers... [Rand Paul calls on conservatives to embrace immigration reform]
- ...by softening its edge on some volatile social issues and altering its image as the party always seemingly "eager to go to war... We do need to expand the party and grow the party and that does mean that we don't always all agree on every issue" ... the party needs to become more welcoming to individuals who disagree with basic Republican doctrine on emotional social issues such as gay marriage... "We're going to have to be a little hands off on some of these issues ... and get people into the party," Paul said. [Rand Paul: Time for GOP to soften war stance]

One day after announcing on his radio show that he is "truly considering" running in 2014 for the U.S. Senate seat now held by New Jersey's Frank Lautenberg, Rivera amped up his message today in a television interview and a column on the Fox News Latino website... a moderate Republican who is fiscally conservative but also supports gay marriage and Roe v. Wade... [Geraldo Rivera declares himself a 'moderate Republican' as he eyes U.S. Senate run]
