Hey Gritty, no need to do without protein in your macaroni! Ground rabbit and/or groundhog will make your macaroni taste just great!
(so will deer, squirrel, raccoon, cat, and the wayward dog. basically, anything you can get your hands on.)
All you need is a really good meat grinder and some Japanese Bulldog sauce.

Smack my butt, I done forgot possums. Possum bellies can be fried up into fluffy, crunchy treats, just like pork rinds.
The possum don’t taste half bad either, depending on what you put in the stew pot with it.
