God was fed up with what had happened on His earth, so he decided to destroy it. But before pulling the plug, He decided to give four newspapers a 24-hour warning, and revealed His plans to the editors thereof.
The headlines in the next editions of the papers were interesting.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The New York Times ran a typically cautious, nuanced, and lengthy headline:
HIGHLY-PLACED SOURCE HINTS AT WIDESPREAD DEVASTATION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Wall Street Journal focused, as always, on the financial repercussions:
Gold Vaults to New High; Markets to Close Early
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
USAToday was typically pithy:
We're outta here!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And the Washington Post stayed true to form to the end:
World to end; women and minorities to suffer most
LOL!
Yep. Cut the delivery people by 50%, and have half the delivery area get mail Mon, Wed, Fri and the other half Tues, Thurs, Sat.
Yes, and Asians, African-Americans and Hispanics comprise about 40 percent or so of the country's population as a whole, dumbass. They are not disproportionately represented in the Postal Service. They may be in lower socioeconomic strata, but they are NOT disproportionately represented.
Maryland "Freak State" PING!
Excellent. There's room in there to 'save' 30,000 jobs for people who are not eligible to retire, right? /s
I'm enraged by this talk of "compassion" for the SOLE REASON of saying women and minorities are most at risk.
“We now have more people walking around with college degrees than ever before but seem to have fewer competent people.”
The college degree has absolutely been cheapened; they are given away for nothing to certain minorities and women, for whom it is no indication at all of any knowledge or training. I want any applicant to write enough on an application so I can tell whether they even have basic mastery of English at this point, since I’ve seen so many applicants with degrees that can’t compose a simple coherent email.
