I was referring to my sister and her husband - they are two of the most arrogant people I’ve ever met. And their egos are inflated because they make a ton of money. And they look down their noses at anyone not in their ‘social bracket’ - a term they use often - or anyone not living in Texas. But they are not the only ones I’ve met like that.

There ARE 56 other states, all with pros and cons.

I just wish the independent-minded states were in the middle of the country. But I’ve surmised that the rugged individualists in places like Texas, Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana are in those places because of the difficult weather, not in spite of it.

But with economic collapse in our future (or at least inflation making heating/cooling expensive), I prefer to be on the cold side. And love splitting and stacking wood as well. My destination needs to be above the 37 degree lattitude line.
