We have a winter storm warning in effect from 7am Friday to 1pm Saturday. 12 to 16 inches of snow but they've dropped the high wind warnings.
Still, all the weather models seem to be focusing on a record-breaking snowfall, perhaps even surpassing the blizzard of '78. Although the "official" records (which usually reflect snowfall levels in Boston) claim a 1978 snowfall of about 27 inches, in some areas the level was much higher, which is why many/most of us use the '78 storm as a benchmark.
I'm glad that you're not getting the high winds. They concern me more than the snow.
