Washington, DC Thursday, February 7, 2013
The President's choice to be the new CIA Director, John Brennan, goes before the Senate Intelligence Committee Thursday for his confirmation hearing. If approved, Brennan will replace Acting Director Michael Morell.
Several Committee members are vowing to ask Brennan tough questions, including questions on the use of American drones overseas and the Obama administrations drone strike program. He is also expected to field inquiries about the agency's budget.
Brennan, currently Obamas counterterrorism adviser, is a 25-year veteran of the CIA and served both at the agency's headquarters and overseas, including a tour as station chief in Saudi Arabia. Pres. Obama nominated Brennan as the next CIA director on January 7, 2013.

Holder says water boarding is torture, so that settles it.
Blech!
Brennan: water boarding will never again be employed if Im confirmed.
Okay, my head is spinning here. So, we can’t waterboard enemies, but we can just kill them? I feel like I’m living in Wonderland.

They gonna ask him anything about this?:
“John Brennan, President Barack Obama’s Deputy National Security Adviser, had been authorizing ‘unilateral operations in North Africa outside of the traditional command structure,’”

I was just about to add that. According to the authors, neither Hillary or Patraeus knew the special operations that Brennan was running. Brennan had to have had approval from obama to run these op’s. Makes it even more unbelievable that obama/Hillary were trying to blame some video. Wonder if that “brilliant” idea was Brennan’s as well.
The Brennan/obama team is beyond dangerous.

From Kyle Smith at the NY Post
The secret war behind Benghazi
A stealth campaign of assassinations, run by CIA nominee John Brennan, resulted in the death of the US ambassador, a new book claims".........
................"Obama gave his chief counterterrorism advisor, John Brennan, who is now the nominee to be the next leader of the CIA, a blank check. Brennan could do just about whatever he needed to do in North Africa and the Mideast, contend Murphy and Webb. Brennan chose to conduct a dangerous classified war without looping in Stevens, who paid with his life for his ignorance, according to the book.
The Joint Special Operations Command, which Brennan controls, is a collection of special forces outside of the regular military command originally formed as a hostage-rescue team. But in the middle of last summer, say Murphy and Webb, troops operating clandestinely under JSOC began infiltrating Libya.
