The GOP-e marginalized the conservatives in the Republican base and were then surprised and dismayed when their boy Romney lost due to low turn-out.

Learning nothing from that experience, they’re now escalating the attack on conservatives in the party. Would that they would go after DemocRAT opponents with the same fervor.

Unlike DC insiders, conservatives have principles and largely stick to them. I’ve held my nose and voted for the “best” candidate for the last time.

The death rattle of the GOP is audible.

Well....let me tell you about our County Republican Party meeting last night....

While the final results aren’t in yet, I will tell you that the “old guard” is finished.

The losers, who insist on promoting the next flexible candidate, were clearly overrun by those who decided that solid conservatism, and a strong plan were more important.

Don’t ask which county.

Rove reminds me of that guy in Deliverance. We’ll make him Squeal like a pig before this is over.

THE BEST discussion on this was by Mark Levin...if you have not heard his comments on Rove you MUST listen to this podcast. Rove is a documented loser in politics, never was a winner. I thought I knew of Rove pretty well, I actually only knew the myth. (Shame in me, thank you Mark).

Here is the link to the podcast: http://www.marklevinshow.com/rss/ilevin.xml

The Tea Party needs to disconnect Rove, by asking future candidates to officially distance themselves from him and his organization, or be tarred with the same brush.

“They may give you money, but they will cost you votes.”

Rove is a bit late...or is he?

It would have been nice to have this fight during the primary, instead of having the eGOP go progressive and shut down debate. Too bad. Whatever might have came out of that primary discussion could have then challenged Team obama on a more open field. We might be looking forward to a different world now as a result.

But, you know?..maybe it's better this way and at this time, you know...after they lost. Again.

After their ideas and their approach lost. Again.

So, Mr. Rove, what does the eGOP have to stand on other than a record of appeasement, political failure and record spending?

So with this record to stand on, now Rove wants to fight about heart and soul? Great! Let's have that fight.

The eGOP's republican party stands for compromise and appeasement. Is that something you want to fight for? Or vote for?

Clearly, the answer has been "NO!!!"

The only way people say "yes" to that is if they are scared and have no other option, and even that wasn't enough this last time. Even once loyal Republicans still stayed home!
