Looking at the end of the barrel (top) it might be a blank fire adapter, as some here suggested.

A barrel reduction sleeve makes no sense with the barrel obviously ported on the right side.

I have never seen such a blank fire adapter, but there is definately something odd about the barrel end. Too big to be a choke sleeve.

BFAs are only used to create enough back-pressure to cycle the next round in a semiautomatic weapon.

A BFA would serve no purpose on a double barreled shotgun.

Could be the plastic wadding. If there was shot in that shell it should be visible just in front of the yellow wad. Looks like a blank to me.

Hope the guy running the trap was OK, cause he sure as ..... wasn't shooting the pidge!
