Port, airport, and rail services all conveniently located to bring in equipment and people. Great margaritas during off time. It’s actually in the 70s here if you feel like going to the beaches and watching medical waste wash up in nearby Galveston. Large chunks of land no one gives a d@^^|\| about.

The do this kinda-sorta regularly. I have a business of the far north side. I sometimes see the equipment pass through the local switching yard in Spring. Someone usually takes them burgers from the Track Shack since the men detailed to watch it can’t leave their posts while it’s stopped at the rail yard.

My reaction when I saw and heard some of this wasn’t “INSTILL TERROR BEFORE THE DESCENT OF MARTIAL LAW!” it was “Oh. February must be upon us.”

Ahhh, but how long have they been doing this? I'm from Katy (stuck in FL for now), and though it's a fair drive to the Pasa-getdown-dina area (or Clear Lake, not sure where this going on), I don't remember this kind of stuff 10 years ago. Or was it just not reported, or smaller?

Still, it makes me wonder. Maybe if we didn't have such a plainly wannabe' king as President.....
