[ the LDS troops have the numbers in units and participants while their adherents with the dollars are heard with donations, especially at the council level]

Uhuh.  I seem to recall a Mormon was running Peaceful Valley the summer this creep was active there:

It's now clear those offenses occurred after the homosexual Floyd David Slusher had been booted from a camp in Germany for allegedly the same horse shyte.

I was 15 and on Jr. Staff half the summer of '76 when Slusher and his ferret were at PV.    My contact with him was fortunately very limited, however I remember he was not well liked by some, but seemingly admired by others; and when I heard he'd been arrested - I thought "yep, it figures".   I also heard the civilian kitchen staff gave him a good beating for some reason.  I always wondered what happened to that POS but Google doesn't return any results for "Dave Slusher".  Now, thanks to the release of the BSA pervert files, the sordid details are available.

When I went up for my Eagle review board later that year the board asked me "What is leadership" - I told them I still wasn't sure what it was but was pretty sure, having observed David Slusher, what it was NOT.

Read the arrest record and then tell us all what a wonderful job the Mormon jackwagons running the Colorado BSA were doing back circa 1976.

Slusher's threats to murder his victims are especially chilling. It's evidently very fortunate he got caught early; and raises the question of how many Jeffery Dahmers this new and improved BSA will manufacture.

It's absolutely disgusting they allowed Slusher loose as "probationary" predator after knowing his record in Germany.

FAIL.

OK, I get it — you had a close brush with a pedophile in your youth that you associate with the LDS people running the Scout camp. From this you’ve extrapolated your views on all things LDS so they can’t possibly run their own youth organization separate from the BSA should the BSA choose to follow the path of least resistance.

Again, I get it and please note that I’m neither LDS nor am I in agreement with any part of their theology. I also was not particularly enamored of Romney as the presidential candidate for the GOP last year. We agree on that much.

Please note I’ve added the Admin Moderator to the address line because I wish no further interaction in this thread or via PM on this subject with you. I do not respond well to mean-spirited cyberstalking. This is your one and only warning from me.
