Will we soon see the tort lawyers turn their attention to the armed forces: people know its a job with risks - like pro football - but when they get a serious injury they’ll still be able to sue because pro football set the precedent.

It’s challenging to sue the govt, because they pretty much have unlimited resources (i.e. taxpayer $$) to fight it.

Private entities are much more likely to succumb to massive settlements.
