“NY already has handgun and assault weapons registration.”
“Assault weapon” registration is part of the new law just passed. Prior to this there was no registration of any “long guns” in NY State.
The new registration requirements are not in effect yet, NY State residents have until Jan 2014 to register any weapons covered under the new law.
And their is a slim possibility that legal challenges could be successful before that.
So at this moment, no one in NY should register any of their long guns. If someone has something they want to register they would be wise to hold off for now.
At least in Lexington, they should try and store these firearms in this building:
“I’ll not hide like a coward, or skulk in shadows.”
Well then next January, grab your AR 15 and come on up to NY State and wave it around. And be sure to bring your 30 round mags.
I Like that!!!
I'll consider coming up to help you protest.
I never want to go north of the Red River again, but if a patriot is serious about asking for help to maintain freedom, it's worth a serious look-see.

Hey, gun-grabbing government lackeys everywhere—I got your answer right here!
And protesters will ramp it up another notch by reducing their withholdings to zero, getting fake driver’s license, etc. Pretty soon it will be all out war.
Lol
Muh phone type what it whunts ....
Ok, but will there be a live thread at least? I think Ruby Ridge would have gone differently if the Weavers had been live streaming, or something like that. If we have to fight, then we have to fight. But we can’t just spend the lives of good FReepers like they were so much Monopoly money. We have to make sure the regime gets bit every time they tread on one of us.
Then you create people with little left to lose who are well armed...even a small % of true resistors would be thousands. If the gooberment can’t rid itself of street gangs......
Last time, he called me a day later and said: "Sorry, didn't know your dad had passed. I would have sent flowers.... All your exes were at your dad's funeral? How does that work?"

More the latter than the former. The constitution (as a whole) was supposed to limit the power of the feds. Giving individuals the power of violence is an essential quality of "free state," and "free state" is what the 2nd amendment is designed to preserve.
Barney Fife has the power and authority to stifle live streaming. That word of Ruby Ridge got out at all is amazing.
Communication networks are trivially easy to shut down, given the power of the feds. Network/broadcast news will always be allowed to operate - it is a first mission of occupying forces.
Yeah, I figured it was a phone. They haven’t got a natural gesture for a newline yet. Hilarity occasionally ensues.
In some cases, he doesn't have a friggin clue on what is going on and how to shut it down.
HA! Killed the power! Wait, stuff is still running.
Don't overestimate Barney's technical competence.
Guys like us build their gear for them and struggle to teach them to use it.
Yes. I have T-shirts.

No doubt true. I was just riffing on the actions of the B+ student of counter-resistance.
For a second there, I read your post as “Hillary ensues”. LOL!
Cooks ask those kind of questions. +300V and greater is for the dishwasher to deal with... I can get new dishwashers.
