My dad had a Winchester model 97 in like new condition. I remember when he would get that out of the closet to go deer hunting, he would rack it to see if it was loaded. That thing had enough moving parts that were factory tight, you could hear it several hundred feet away.
I bought a new Remington 870 a few weeks ago. When I rack it, she sings to me. ;-)
