We had a case in NM last weekend where a 15 year-old manchild killed his mother and 3 siblings - aged, 2, 5 and 9 with a .22 while they slept, then laid in wait until his father came home from work and killed him with an AR 15. Then, he went and hung out at church all day with his 12 year-old "girlfriend".
My son was one of the LEO's assigned to cover the scene and I am worried about his present state of mind.
No "assault weapons" ban would have stopped that.
