So by mere race and birth a person is forever liberal? There is zero GOP outreach to urban minorities, zero. Why?

No. Individuals can change, but in general the group will not.

Look at the Catholic vote in the US. Because of the No Nothings in the 1800’s and early 1900’s, they have been solidly Democrat for over a 100 years. That is despite the Dems having an agenda that is Anti Catholic. Catholic doctrine is very explicit that supporting abortion is a mortal sin, but the majority of Catholics still vote Dem.

If you look at the rise of the Hispanics, you see a similar situation. The GOP has allowed itself to be painted as anti immigrant. The Hispanics know this, and have started to support the Democrats. Beyond the second generation, it because part of their identity. I work with a lot of guys who are American citizens, whose families came from Mexico and other parts south. They have told me that while they support much of what the GOP does, they can not vote for them because “We are Hispanic”. One who did was ostracized by his own family.

As for outreach to urban minorities, their was an interesting article on CNN about it yesterday. Simple fact is the GOP will not reach out the black community because it will open them up to attacks of racism. Of course by not doing so, they do the same. The African Americans are in the same boat as the Indians. The State has destroyed them, but they remain loyal to the the State to support them.
