Their original public statement made a point of what big backers of the 2A they are just before announcing the decision proving they weren't any such thing.

This latest “postponement” doesn't even give the 2A lip service, but rather presses the Elmer Fudd line that they are big advocates of hunting (with rocks maybe).

My guess is that they actually think that they can reflect blame back on the exhibitors. Its smug, unapologetic, BS. I certainly hope that this effects their ability to land any such shows, anywhere in the future.

I think there are a lot of Fudds out there, but they are slowly waking up. Well, at least some of them. I was really surprised at the number of Archery related vendors that pulled out of the show. Granted, most hunters that bow hunt also hunt with guns. I am little bit disappointed with fishermen. Not a lot of support there.

I recall after the last AWB, PETA turned their sites on fishermen. They were dragging chains through streams in north central PA over the opening day weekend of trout season. That was the first time I carried while fishing. Now it is a normal practice for me. I didn't run into any PETA jerks, but I was prepared. These liberals tend to be very violent.
