And plenty haven't. And the level of denigration that I perceive to be directed at our servicewomen here is sad.
It is Leon Panetta and the Joint Chiefs of Staff that should be called to account for this action.
Comments about dykes, decorating foxholes, getting "done" in foxholes, and dying like men do not help the argument, imho.

All this will do is push more women into the Navy and Air Force. Everyone in uniform knows that regardless of your job or branch that you have a bullseyes painted on your back.
I could attest that women don't really hold up in stressful environments and I have never been in a combat situation. I have seen female supervisors break down and cry. All the bravado is from pilots or officer types.
