Maybe, just maybe, Johnson reached that conclusion on his own? He’s wealthy, independent, and won a classic tea party election in Wisconsin. He’s far more conservative than Santorum ever was.

Agreed. Ron Johnson is one of the better senators and as you said isn’t beholden to anyone.

Firsthand info C.E.: Johnson was given his orders to “get rid of Santorum” by Reince and the boys.

This launched Sub-gate, the phony sandwich caper, that occurred between Paul Ryan and Mittens at a Cousins sub shop. Subs for votes. It was ridiculous.

Maybe Rick wouldnt have won. That’s not the point. It’s that the GOP-E thought they were in charge of picking the candidate to run against Odingo and completely disregarded the will of THE PEOPLE. It proves that Johnson is a caver just like the rest of the RINOS who cower before the throne of the DC reachers across the aisle.

As long as our elected legislators thinks that moderation is okay(under certain circumstances), we will be living under the regime of progressives rather than represented by fearless, core constitutional REAGAN conservatives who live by first principles and aren’t afraid to take on the wimpy RNC and all their DC buddies.
You cannot defeat socialism with moderation.
