(Philadelphia) -- Hunting and fishing retailer Cabela's Inc. says it won't participate in what has been billed as Pennsylvania's largest outdoor sports show next month following the decision to ban display and sale of assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition magazines.

Wish we had a cabela’s in my area.
Its getting heated here in Harrisburg. Its a shame hunting outfits come from faraway to sell packages and lots of locals are planning on not attending the show at all.
The rabid liberals have not started their battle yet.
Cross Country Arms in Utah just issued a statement on their FB page that THEY’RE pulling out, too.
Hubby says local dealers are backing out due to the promoters not allowing some guns to be shown.

Call Cabelas and voice your support. They will listen! 800-237-4444 is the sales number. Ask for a supervisor and just tell them that you support them for pulling out. Unlike your elected congressional rep., they’ve listened!
We are getting one here in the upstate of SC next year....only one in the area...looking forward to it. I support retailers who support my country and the constitution.
Of course they could have taken another tack and said, yep we checked our inventory. We don’t sell anything called an “assault weapon” so we’ll be there with our full firearms catalog on display.
Don’t know but one is shydas and the other trop according to him. Both have been so busy that its an hour wait to get your paperwork done.
Ha!
I think I'll thumb through the catalog tonight and see if there's anything I want.
We have both a Cabelas and a Bass pro.
That reminds me: I still have a Bass Pro gift certificate from Christmas. Enough for a box of ammo with a little change left over.
