No.
For instance, let’s say I’m your doc, and I say to you, “Hey, I went target shooting this weekend. Did pretty good, blah blah blah, so whaddaya think of that Obama’s EO doing __________?” and then you reply, “F*****g Obama! The man’s a dictator out to destroy the USA!” and I’m like, “Yeah, ain’t that the truth” and then I mark you down as a paranoid personality likely to cause harm to yourself and others.
And that’s that.
So don’t say that.
It ain’t rocket science...just ‘cause they ask doesn’t mean you have to bare your soul. Situation depending its ‘none of your business” or “no”.
I am sorry they have cynically chosen to make MY Dr. the point of THEIR spear...but I recognize him as an adversary, not a “friend”. ALL of them are.
I learned to keep my personal life’s activities (vacations, family matters, job stuff, etc.) to myself when my dentist started asking follow up questions to conversations that I had at visits six months earlier. They certainly aren’t memorizing that stuff, they’re writing it into their files and then recapping just before I sit down. All that info will be accessible by the government.
