I have a recommendation for gun control, something that should be tried before any of the illegal controls are enacted - try any underage person who uses a gun in a crime, as an adult, no extenuating circumstances.
When Philadelphia was heading the murder rate nationally, it was common knowledge that the gangs were assigning the shooting to minors because they knew if they got caught, the penalty would be much lighter, than if an adult was caught.
Also, all minimum sentencing requirements must be enforced across the board when a gun is used in a crime. No social justice sentencing for gun crimes.
