It’s the Jewish translation of Exodus 13:18; the KJV translates it differently for some reason.

Because the Jews didn’t leave ‘armed’ they were led out by the Lord, who fought for them. (Ex.14:14).

Thanks, the KJV is all I've ever known. There is a significant difference between, "armed" and "harnessed".
