I have not been willing to give up principle. We fought for whom we believed would do the best for our country. At the end of the campaign we faced bad choices. Obama or Romney. A third party vote was truly wasted, even though those who cast it might feel good about what they did. Had Romney been elected, to some extent we would likely be in a 2nd Amendment battle after Newtown. But I do not believe that Romney would have 19 points and use executive orders to subvert the Constitution. He would hear from those who put him in office -— us. I would gladly man the bullhorn at the front of the protest. I saw a choice between someone who actually understands economics and wants America to succeed and a guy who hates America and wants it to fail. In my opinion, too many people stayed home because they refused to see the danger posed by four more years of Obama. He didn’t even wait until the inauguration.

We really are not on different sides here.

Doug, I don’t think we are either. But until you accept the reality that the election of all these compromise candidates led to Obama’s BS, we cannot have a meeting of the minds.

You cannot rationally argue that Bhoner and his ilk do not give away the store. Because they do and their record shows it. And the collective ‘we’ put them in DC with our votes.

During this election and every other people screamed we HAD to vote for these unprincipled idiots. You know that’s the truth. And the excuse is always the devil in Dem clothing is worse. Sure it’s worse.

How much? We are about to hit a Constitutional crisis in several areas...financial, 2A and elsewhere SOLELY because the Republicans that WE collectively elected, KNOWING they were anything but men of principle, refused to exercise their constitutional power and rein that bastard in.

So if we elect MORE unprincipled idiots, why expect anything different?

It does not GET worse than its getting and the GOP is NOT stopping it. They are causing it.

It has to stop Doug. People have to vote for what they believe in, not what they hope the blue Fairy will wave a wand and grant them magically.

We do it starting now, or accept that we get more of the same.

And if you can prove any mistakes in my reasoning, no split hairs BS, I will publicly apologize and shut up.

The only defense these idiots who chose to either not vote in the presidential election, or voted third party, is that “Romney and Obama are exactly the same!” This is the only thing they have to cling to in order to justify their inexcusable action.

You know, I wish things were perfect to. I wish we had world peace, no hunger etc. But sometimes that just isn't the reality of the situation. We had a choice; Romney or Obama. We had three years to see the destruction Obama brought on our nation, with the promise for more. I chose to vote for Romney.

Does Romney hate free enterprise and small businesses? NO!
Does Romney hate our allies like Israel? NO!
Does Romney embrace our nations enemies like Iran? NO!
Does Romney support energy production? YES!

Now ask these same questions to Obama.

I could go on, but you get the point. The fact that these “Patriots” try to equate Romney and Obama is beyond dumb. I still cannot believe they saw Romney as a bigger threat than Obama. WTF!

This thread SHOULD be focused like a laser on the imminent attempt to destroy our Constitution's primary underpinning, and instead it's devolved into a CHILDISH F'N DISGRACE ! ! !
