So raising the debt ceiling has nothing to do with spending?
So if my credit limit on my credit card is reached while I am at the store trying to buy a big screen tv,I call the bank and say I have reached my 10 thousand dollar limit, they won’t let me buy this television, the bank tells the store clerk let him have the tv,buying it has nothing to do with spending

President Obama said that the debt ceiling needs to be raised so that we could pay the bills for monies already spent, and he made this point very clearly: We don’t
want to raise the debt ceiling so we can spend more money. This is very confusing to me. If I understand this corrctly, you have a debt ceiling limit but you spend money beyond that limit so you ask for the debt ceiling to be raised. The part I don’t understand is, what
prevents the government from continuing to do the same thing over and over again, in which case why have a debt ceiling at all? The whole thing sounds like jibber jabber to me. Why doesn’t anyone call him on this obvious and deliberate attempt to Bull shit the uninformed?

Obama thinks we are all as stupid as the idiots that voted for him.
