It can be done. We did it here in Canada. It started as a small grassroots party in the western provinces (mainly Alberta) known as the Reform Party, and evolved from there. Sooner or later, the Progressive Conservative Party had to adapt and concede to the REAL conservatives. Through many changes, which took more than a few years, we now have the Conservative Party of Canada, and it IS “conservative”. Don’t be discouraged by the “Perot experiment”. He was a flash-in-the-pan and all that was accomplished was splitting the conservative vote and re-electing Clinton. With real leadership behind a third party, it can be done !

Thank you! Can you provide, or suggest sources that provide, further information on how it was done?

Re: “We did it in Canada.”

Great job - but one observation.

Canada is 84% white.

The USA is 63% white.

American whites vote about 60% Conservative.

The USA is 37% minorities.

American minorities vote 75% for the Democrat Party.

With our current immigration rate and Obama’s “Executive Order” Amnesty, there is no possible way to create a politically successful Conservative Party.
