We have enough stocks on hand to last for decades. Mags dont wear out quick. Ammo lasts.
But if they criminalize any legal 2012 guns, ammo or mags, all bets are off. Many will not register, and will not turn them in,period.”
What about something which was purchased/took possession of during the first 11 days of 2013?
Them too, but for clarity, it’s easy to use the turn of the year to our advantage. 2012 legal....always legal. The early days of Jan also, but it gets more ambiguous, exp. if Obama does an EO next week to ban transfer of semi-autos. (That’s the rumor.)
But for sure, legal in 2012, legal forever. Hang onto that dichotomy. Lots of crazy EOs and “laws” will come out in 2013, and “who struck John” will get confusing, depending on when, where and how something was purchased.
But for sure, legal in 2012, legal forever.
