Who would actually carry out that order?

I saw quite a lot of activity in a local ‘hardware’ stare today on the way home from work.

Usually there is a car or two.

The parking lot was FULL and it looked like standing room order inside.

Too bad all my ‘hardware’ was lost in a tragic boating accident.

My facebook post targeting some liberal family members who praise O constantly:

Joe Biden says that the President “will act” through force of Executive Order to curb 2nd Ammendment rights. I’m certainly not surprised, not with this President. Whether or not gun control should be tightened through congressional effort is not a question to be answered by one man who thinks he’s acting in the best interest of the country. We live in a Republic, and although I might protest and disagree at times, our congress makes laws that I have to follow. But, if your 2nd Ammendment rights can be altered or taken away by one person, then nothing at all is sacred. Your 1st Ammendment rights can too be altered or controlled. Your right to assemble in protest of this ridiculous power grab is also at risk. No matter who you are, no matter what your political persuasion, you should be alarmed. If you are a liberal who disagrees, perhaps you wouldn’t mind a so-called right wing Republcan weilding the same power? Perhaps an executive order could ban all abortions, or remove a states ability to make medical marijuana legal. If you can truly say that would be ok with you, I’d say you’d be lying through your teeth. This time, it’s conservatives and law abiding gun owners who are about to get throttled by this president. Next time, it will be you. If you support this Machiavellian ego, when your time comes, I too will be deaf to your objections.

The gungrabbers have lost the intellectual debate, and now they will turn to tyranny and violence against the people. Obama is playing a dangerous game that he and his punk-ass flunkies are going to lose. A historian by the name of Leslie Simpson once asked “how many Indian boys had to die” because of the vanity of Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna. One day someone may ask “how many American people had to die because of the narcissism of Barak Hussein Obama?”

I posted this thought before, but I pray that obama has a conversion away from the destructive ideologies he and the demonrats have turned loose upon us, but if not, then let Proverbs 16:18 ("Pride Goeth Before Destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall") be his future.

On the other hand, perhaps obama is Proverbs 16:18 for us?

At the rate he's going and we're going, obama will bring us both our fall and our destruction and around half of us voted for it...not once, but twice.

Yeah, sure! LOL!

Joe Biden guarantees Obama will bypass reluctant Republicans and cement new gun control laws
ny daily news ^ | 1/9/2013 | DAN FRIEDMAN
"The president is going to act. There are executives orders, there's executive action that can be taken," Biden said. "We haven't decided what that is yet."

Will Obama see that the armed guards where his kids go to school once he dictates gun control? They obviously won’t be needed anymore.

What can he do? Ban importation of magazines and AKs, slow down domestic paperwork? His sycophant followers may think he is doing something. Doing more than that risks serious consequences.

If some of those victims of gun violence had their guns with them maybe they wouldn’t be victims?

I don't want anyone to make any assumptions about what I am asking but...

Is there anything being organized to fight back against this? So far, I haven't seen any movement from anyone and the only real defensive stuff that has made even partly mainstream was the Alex Jones tirade... hardly the example we wish to present. I mean, he has a clear understanding of the second amendment, but he's a conspiracy hound and sounds crazy to most people.

I've been sitting around bitching for years but this is the last straw for me. I'm ready to take some vacation time if I have to... are there ANY organizations coordinating anything that is worthwhile to join in? We need to show our numbers and show it loudly... where is the that voice?

I don't know about you guys, but this is the line in the sand for me. I need to do something besides keep calling my rep and senator, they are nothing more than part of the problem. There HAS to be a way to inject common sense and constitution into this one-sided attack and I have a driving urge to participate and do something. I honestly feel that this could be the last stand for freedom for the individual. If we lose this one, we will become servants to the 51% and I simply can't sit in my chair here and allow it to happen.

The only thing that scares these dumb bastards is the threat of losing their seat in the next election, how can we make a show of numbers so large that they don't dare allow this debauchery to continue? Can someone help direct me to something besides my NRA membership dues and the phone number to my representative?

How about a TEA party march on GOP headquarters AND John Boehner’s office if he does NOT start impeachment proceedings (its the speakers duty to call for them, isn’t it?)

I think Bohner needs a swift kick in the nads to get them started

what kind of leader even threatens the people they are supposed to be responsible to with an unconstitutional edict? only a tyrant and his court jester would entertain such nonsense much less do it. Where is the GOP slamming them back? cowards they should be saying try it and we will fight you tooth and nail-not a peep.

He didn’t waste any time after the election. He is now going to go from the most divisive president in recent history to the most hated.

This gun ban push was starting to worry me, but now it seems this admin is going so over the top, so extreme and so polarizing in their partisan agenda driven desires that they are starting to look like they are exploiting the tragedy from the start. They are starting to look like they have to hurry before the blood dries. Urgency to exploit the rash reaction of the emotional feelings of the school tragedy, instead of cool logic and reason.

So much for “I’m not going to come after your guns”, they are now exposed as the hypocritical liars that they are.

They are now going to do it to themselves.

This administration is going down.

Hard.

Victims of CRIMINAL Violence are now Victims of GUN Violence, who would have imagined?

Are the Guns that injured the Victims in Jail, or are the Criminals that injured the Victims in Jail?

Apparently the “Victims of Gun Violence” are the most recent reincarnation of Useful Idiots being played by the Mulatto Marxist in the White Hut.

MUST READ——FR POSTED

It’s Not “Game Over”— It’s Time for the GOP to Counterattack
Townhall.com | January 9, 2013 | Kurt Schlichter/ Posted by Kaslin

The current state of the GOP brings to mind the surviving Marines in “Aliens,” with no shortage of demoralized hacks lamenting their inability to resist by channeling Private Hudson: “Maybe you haven’t been keeping up on current events but we just got our a**** kicked, pal!” ——

So what? So we took a hit on the Fiscal Cliff. Stand up, brush off and get back into the fight. This is no time for self-pity, no time for weakness. Every combat leader knows that when you take a hit, you regroup, reorganize, and prepare to counterattack.

—snip—

And guns – talk about a golden opportunity to defeat Obama while also helping set the stage for a Democrat wipe-out in 2014! Obama and his progressive pals are giddy with the idea that Newtown will let them jam through a whole slew of Second Amendment-trashing measures before everyone starts thinking again. If Obama’s actually foolish enough to proceed – and I am not sure he is – he’s setting himself up for a huge loss.

GOP, remember Napoleon’s admonition to never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake. Let Obama try and force the red state Democrat senators to come out against guns. Let the Democrats tear themselves up while we watch and gobble popcorn.

Heck, we should egg them on – like by trying to force a Senate vote on, say, a provision which reaffirms the right of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms for the protection of their families and communities and directs that all federal law shall be interpreted toward preserving and protecting that right. Let’s see how all those Democrats paying lip service to the Second Amendment feel about voting on that.

And if some bill finally limps out of the Senate, hopefully without a single GOP vote, Speaker Boehner should mimic Harry Reid’s fiscal cliff antics and just let it die. No debate. No discussion. No vote. Obama’s dream of disarming his opponents, paid for with the careers of several sitting Democrat senators, will die in the hopper. It will be a thing of beauty.

Remember, this is an existential crisis for our country. Now is not the time to “govern;” it’s the time to defeat Obama and his radical left-wing agenda. No, you can’t say that out loud – simpering wimps will shudder and fret. Just do it, even as you talk about working together and compromising and hugging and all that goo-goo baloney. Republican, quit shouting, “Game over, man! Game over!”

Counterattack, seize the initiative, and start winning again. Play for keeps. Stop channeling Hudson and start channeling Ripley. It’s time to figuratively nuke the site from orbit – it’s the only way to be sure.

How dare these freaking corrupt politicians try to take the property of law abiding gun owners for the actions of madmen that should never have been walking around free. By what rationale do they think it is legitimate to punish us and deprive us of our rights for something we didnt do? Tar and feathering would be too good for them.
