As a result of their loss, certain positions on state's rights and property rights were forever weakened.

Our 2nd Amendment rights are currently under attack because a tiny minority of people were extremely irresponsible. The Confederacy is a classic example of a few people taking extreme action to defend the indefensible and ultimately ruining things for everyone.

Why don't you stand up for Adam Lanza and James Holmes, while you're at it?
