It was uncomfortable and embarrassing to watch.

I understand that sentiment. Yet why is it allowed for a woman to slap a man across the face to sell a car (Fiat) in a current TV advertisement? Imagine if an ad was produced today where a man struck a woman? It would never see the light of day, nor should it but where is the outcry?

That’s how i felt when he spoke about her looks. He may not have meant it to come off the way it did, but I was very uncomfortable with it, and all I could think of was that I was glad that the young lady didn’t have to hear him say it...at least not live. She is beautiful, but I’d be surprised if beauty is her only redeeming quality.
