Never knew of this quote from Sam Adams until I read the article:

"If you love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Yesterday when O was presenting his nominees I had the volume muted but the bottom of the screen qouted him saying, “security is our most important job”. I wanted to scream that no it’s preserving our liberty and freedom.
