That looks like a really solid mount.
Your scope would be “top shelf” on my budget. :)
I bought a clearance price Barska Colorado 3-9x40 for my slug gun this year. Since it’s a rifle scope I didn’t really expect it to hold up very well on a shotgun. I was pleasantly surprised. After 20-30 practice rounds with 1-once slugs it never lost zero. I filled my deer tag with one shot.
I’ve had friends with much more expensive scopes comment that the clarity on mine is excellent. I’ve read that optics can be hit or miss in the lower price ranges. I guess I got lucky and got a good one.
I put Barska on my SCAR 17, had to be on a budget after that purchase. I was pleasantly surprised how accurate it is.
I think it’s a Commie product, which sucks, but for $75 you can’t beat it.
That slug gun you got is very nice. When you fill your deer tag with one shot that pretty much says it all in my book.
I was going to get a Barska scope. It even came with a set of binos for free. And the reviews were excellent for it.
