Senate GOP must debate his nomination and expose his anti-Israel and pro-Iran views. But, not block confirmation. Hagel will get nominated because Obama is anti-Israel and pro-Iran. So, expose that by letting him be nominated and confirmed. Beat Obama with his own bat.

Hagel served (unlike most of the neocons and those in the Senate); he’s not an axx kisser or one that uses the PC police to control his beliefs; he looks out for USA interests; and neocons that want us involved in a new ME war, so they can “rebuild other nations” while leaving our own to go to pot, hate him. That’s good enough for me.

I really don't know much about Hagel. I do know Obama does not nominate or appoint effective administrators. He himself is not an effective administrator and has never even held a job that involved the execution of administration. Obama is simply the poorest executive that ever held the office of president. All of his appointees and nominees include his words praising them as having done extraordinary work. Huh? Just what does that mean? I would guess that it means they will also, like himself, ignore the real job of enhancing American interests while upholding the Constitution and instead, provide the “extra” ordinary skillset of lying to the American people to advance the deadly agenda of Obama’s 2nd term. God save America!

Thanks for the reply. Hagel is a Repub who has fought and served the USA in combat. That’s very important to me. He understands war. Most in DC do not.

What is much less important to me is whether he’ll serve the wants of other countries. I care only care about my own country the USA which seems to be going to the dogs, and my family. How have any of these so-called allies and other countries ever served us? How many lives sacrificed. How many dollars donated?
