**SNIP**
While I do support many of the items in this proposal for example, extending unemployment insurance, the wind production tax credit and tax cuts for most Americans I believe they should have come in the context of a comprehensive deficit reduction package, Bennet said. Without a serious mechanism to reduce the debt, I cannot support this bill.
Putting the country on a sustainable fiscal path and bringing our debt under control is incredibly important to our economy and our standing in the world and is a top priority for me, Bennet continued. I remain committed to continue working with any Republican or Democrat willing to address this problem in a serious way. Colorados kids deserve no less.

While I do support handouts for everyone for eternity......
His “serious mechanism to reduce the debt” probably includes a whole slough of taxes, including more on the “millionaires and billionaires”. He rejected this, not because spending wasn’t being cut, but because there weren’t enough new taxes.
Here is a FREAKING GIFT for any GOP’r that wants to vote no. just say, “i agree with Bennet, so it’s “bipartisan” and walk the f away from it. Any GOP’r that does NOT do that, actually wants this sh*t sandwich and deserves to be voted out.
I suspect that this is a CYA vote for Colorado consumption from a solid supporter of Obamacare etc. He is an unabashed Statist who never met a new tax he didn’t like.
I am actually surprise more rats didn’t vote ‘no’.
The way the game is played, both sides need some ‘no’ votes in order to make it look like the bill was the result of “tough negotiations” that contains provisions that are “tough to swallow for both sides”.
In this case, the rats only came up with two ‘no’ votes? Yikes. I guess the rest of them are all jumping for joy so high they couldn’t vote ‘no’ and keep a straight face.

Good to see him supporting the REALLY important stuff. Especially things that won't go without subsidies.
Must have investments in wind energy.
