If there’s a confiscation action, perhaps an “example” for the community or neighborhood, it would be feds do the raid, state police provide security, local police put out further on the perimeter. They do an example full on SWAT raid to spread fear, then say to rest of folks turn in guns. Rewards provided to those who snitch on folks with firearms.

If the confiscation goes bad, and there is a shoot out, homeowner(s) dead, than it opens up a guerrilla war on a national level. While the illegal actions of those above entities conducting that raid in that area should be included in the range cards, it shouldn’t be every police dept across the nation, many will hold to their oaths. It’s better served to do a targeted flush of the planners, enablers behind all this, PERHAPS minimizing a full blown bloody civil war which might give the tyrants pause... also while police depts including all support staff should be warned in variety of ways, harassment, phone calls to home, etc. Fed level security forces are more apt to be loyal to regime, their leadership also needs to be “tweaked” throughout the country.

There's that assumption that everyone will cower at home waiting.

Some of us have restless feet and roam. Heck, some of us sleep on the shed roof during certain parts of the year because a)we can, and like sleeping under the stars, b)we save money on the air conditioning in the house.

All the flash-bangs, SWAT teams, etc... aren't going to do any good on an empty box. I'm not even sure they could make the front parlor look much worse. Single guys are like that.

The “leaders” are better targets than the “grunts”.
