Who serves in the army?
Israel is unique in that military service is compulsory for both males and females. It is the only country in the world that maintains obligatory military service for women.

Don't pretend to be an expert, and don't have a dog in that hunt - started doing some reading after a thread on Israel showed up after Newtown. "Who serves" seems confusing and controversial - Try
