Re: could be compulsory.
These people don’t get it.....not even the sales of the past week are enough to wake them up.
if somehow, you can be the person stationed before, and get to inspect and then pay a bit more for some of the valuable ones, this would be a good “buy back”.
And... did it reduce criminal use of guns?
DiFi is part of the Ruling Class. Gun bans apply only to the little people.
They have all the momentum they need now. It’s only a matter of time.
Our current military might not attack citizens; however, with demographic trends, the future make-up of our military, i believe, will be composed of folks who would love nothing more than to turn their guns on the American public, which is why for the 1st time in my life as someone who has been traditionally pro-military, loved the Reagan build-up in the 80s, etc., now support gutting our military.
Bump
Confiscation could be an option, Cuomo told The New York Times yesterday when discussing semiautomatic weapons. Mandatory sale to the state could be an option. Permitting could be an option keep your gun but permit it.
No, no, and no. Fuhgeddaboutit. And Cuomo, forget about running for any higher office.
WOW. What a strong and well articulated post!
How sad it has come to this that we have to even think such things in our country..the greatest in the world.
Which one was it that thought a barrel shroud was a shoulder thing that goes up?
I have written a major essay, title: “Dear Mr. Security Agent: a letter to law enforcement.”
Everything I’ve written over the past decade, including four novels, has been leading up to that essay. I’ll send it out after the new year.
Molon labe.
The "shot heard 'round the world" was about the confiscation of guns
...Utopians, perfect name for these fascists
A national gun registration list in 2012-13 is not needed. Data-mining will reveal who owns what, unless you never used a credit card to purchase an ammo mag, rifle sight, case of ammo, etc.
They don’t need you to fill out a registration form saying you own an AR or AK. They will know in two seconds, by your credit card history.
Utopians always cause the worst genocides, because they are convinced they are justified in forcing their vision on an entire society.
Your blood should run cold when our masters tell us we must be disarmed in the name of “public safety.”
During the French Revolution’s “Great Terror,” it was the “Committee of Public Safety” that sent tens of thousands to the guillotine without even a pretense at a trial.
In Turkey, German, the USSR, China etc, gun control / confiscation was always sold as promoting “public safety.”
Ask the Armenians, Jews, Kulaks, “landlords” etc how it worked out, safety-wise.
Give you my bullets first.
But look at our Texas state board ..... and btw, this will not last very long. Demand will bring more mags and weapons to market. And look for the good-quality mags discussed by our fellow Texans in some detail, esp. the Izzy-manufactured ones. Not owning an AR type, I'm not participating in that discussion, but you might be interested.
True, but having a FOID Card doesn't necessarily mean the Card holder owns or 'possesses' a firearm. I've known a few folks who have or had FOID Cards but didn't own a firearm. They'd rent a gun when they went to a range, used a friends gun, or 'planned' to buy a gun but never did. But granted it does give the Gestapo (Geheime Staatspolizei) a place to start looking.
an aside: I have a BATF C&R License so I've been in the G's database for a long time anyway. So for me our STOO-PID™ IL FOID Card is kinda moot.
Center for American Progress = George Soros the Jew-Betrayer, the Jew-Finder, the Nazi Collaborator
Moving on our freedom, is he?
And why I never applied for a CHL or took a course, and why I don't hang around gun shops or ranges, where the ATF slugs lurk.
If I showed up at a range with something interesting like a Steyr precision rifle or even an SVD, much less a .50-cal. turnbolt, my license plate would be over at ATF before you can say "sic 'em, Dan-O!"
