Since Democrats hate rich people so much, why don’t they advocate requiring highly overpaid teachers and administrators — those making more than $60 thousand a year, for nine months’ work, of course — to contribute a small percentage of their salaries to hiring security guards for their schools?

Seven of the dead in the Connecticut shooting were teachers, so they’d be direct beneficiaries of such an arrangement.

However, so obsessed have liberals been with blaming gun owners in the post-shooting hysteria, whom they apparently hate even more than rich people, that there has been no discussion of any other possible solutions to the security problem than gun confiscation — a completely unworkable ‘’solution.’’

So far, the only beneficiaries of the tragedy have been gun manufacturers and gun-sales personnel, whose merchandise has been flying off the shelves. And, if the gun-control hysteria continues, Republican candidates will also benefit in future elections.

The Democrats have not emphasized gun-control in the past few election cycles because they know it’s a losing issue for them. But if they want to not only bring it out of mothballs as they’re doing now but also continue to wave it in everyone’s faces, good, they’ll be making a lot of Republicans’ days.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the “other” articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

The elite get protection. We masses have to fend for ourselves.

Eliminate armed guards for the President, Vice-President, and their families, and establish Gun Free Zones around them

Gun Free Zones are supposed to protect our children, and some politicians wish to strip us of our right to keep and bear arms. Those same politicians and their families are currently under the protection of armed Secret Service agents. If Gun Free Zones are sufficient protection for our children, then Gun Free Zones should be good enough for politicians.

Remember the press conference where a reporter asked Carney how many guards the president’s daughters’ school has? And then the follow up question about why that school deserves guards as opposed to other schools?

As in ancient Egypt our government now uses slaves to design and build massive tombs to worship themselves in the here and now and for their slaves to worship them in the afterlife

Sort of a GREEN self-perpetuating thing

.....until the rivers dry up and nobody will loan them anymore water

Then the Brits will come along and use their dried up mummified bodies as fuel for trains to nowhere through the deserts

Just look what the Egyptians and others of Africa have become:

Detroit
Chicago
Washington DC

The Master Race?

Of course they have armed guards. These are the children of important people. Let the peasants fend for themselves.

Perhaps what is more interesting is that the Sidwell Friends School is a Quaker School, so their allowance of any armed defense could easily be argued against from their theological foundations. So even those who clamor to oppose the 2nd Amendment, have no problem with defending themselves.

Besides the obvious hypocritical behavior of these people (the."guns are necessary to protect me, not thee") what is iteresting is that many of the Progressives/Libs who send their children there have a problem with the idea of organized religion, Christianity, even including God in anything.

Ironically, Sidwell Friends school was founded as a relgious school, by the Quakers - who DID NOT believe in using guns for killing others, and often would not bear arms for that reason and would not serve in the military evoking their rights to avoid the Draft laws because they were "conscious objectors." Quakers believed that guns were only to be used for hunting and protecting one's farm from wild animals.

But today, because the families of students at Sidwell Frends School feel their children are more important than other children in the country - they employ professionals with guns as guards - while they champion the cause to ban guns for others.

At least, according to Obama's mantra of "share the wealth" this school should have to "share the PROTECTION" and some of their guards should be relocated to other schools in the area. After all...it is only "fair!"

Apparently, there are 10,000 armed guards in schools at this time. Of course the mediots and the lefties in charge of our country don’t want this blatant discrimination against kids in unarmed schools out in the open.

Every elite left winger should be challenged to remove the armed guards from the schools their children attend, have no armed guards where they meet in legislative sessions to destroy our constitution, have no personal armed guards/chauffers and surrender any C&C permits and guns they have before enacting new anti second ammendment laws.
