I told the woman at Sirius they have a lot of stupid stuff on Sirius & they should take something else off instead of Fox News Talk. I feel like cancelling, but at least they have Fox News Channel.
i’ll take either over geraldo...what about Levin in the PM??? here’s hoping WOR does not carry the uber leftist ABC news feed at the top of the hour...
I've heard him interview several interesting guests and become a little frustrated by the missed opportunity.
Meh. Dont care. I dont listen to s single pundit anymore anyway. Dont trust a one. To a man/woman they have sold us out.
I know that feeling. Most of these pundits are now pushing Illegal Alien Amnesty, Gun Control, and attack Obama Eligibility people. Most of them left conservatism a long time ago
WOR will benefit from adding Limbaugh....but with Hannity now pushing Illegal Alien Amnesty and the GOP “Hispanic Voter Myth” agenda....its like WOR replacing one liberal with another
It is a business
—In New England there are only 2 libtalk stations, one in
Brattleboro VT and one in Bangor ME owned by a certain well-known horror author..and he just took it off FM (for now it’s
AM only). This does not include NPR though.
—In Boston there was one station that aired libtalk because a guy bought time but money started drying up and the station
changed to sports anyway. Now he does a show where he pays
a Worcester station to run it—for one hour a day.
—In the Seattle area you can find libtalker Thom
Hartmann on KBCS (they displaced folk music for him).
Usually on commercial libtalk stations but they are
drying up; Seattle’s will go all sports after the new
year (CBS Sports; CBS owns the station). Portland’s libtalk
station changed to Fox Sports (KPOJ, owned by Clear
Channel, who syndicates Fox Sports). So a non-commercial
station runs Hartmann now...
NPR stations get taxpayer money...and it’s doubtful you were even hear a conservative view on them at all. When the libs
pushed for a Fairness Doctrine I said “so does that mean
conservatives get 50 per cent of the time on NPR?” (Of
course not...)
Malzberg has been giving the 20/20 updates late at night on WFAN, the sports talk show station. He was on Art Rust’s sports show, probably before WFAN began 25 years ago.
Be persistent. You can get Sirius and XM for about 5 bucks a month, but you must threaten to cancel, and then be prepared to spend up to an hour or more butting heads with them. They will eventually give in. If you reach an impasse, hang up and start all over again with another rep; after several tries, you'll get connected with a real American from the US, with whom you can deal.
“Did you know he dumped his wife (with whom he has a kid) for another woman who is having his next child???!!!”
So this would be marrige noumber three? His first wife (Lisa who works as a TV reporter) dumped him years ago for lying for publicity early on in his guardian angels gig. He used to play a conservative on radio. Dumping a family for another family seems to be on the rise. I can’t even fathom it.
It’s either wife #3 or #4. I don’t really care about his weird personal life but he’s simply uncontrollable on radio without a co-host. He’s just become bad radio.
