There are no ‘ten lost tribes’. According to the scriptures:
Jesus and Mary were from the tribe of Judah.
Anna, a prophetess, was from the tribe of Asher.
Zacharias and his wife Elizabeth were Levites.
Paul was of the tribe of Benjamin.
These are four of the twelve living in Christ’s day, leaving eight tribes left.
I worked with a an Iraqi whose lineage never returned from the deportment to Babylon, until Moslem persecution pressures drove them out just after the formation of Israel as a state. An IDF sergeant, grenade-wounded in 1967 while recapturing the Temple Mount lost in Tisha B'Av (70 C.E.). Entered service from the tribe of Manasseh.
