They will try to re-schedule.

Likely there are very few votes to win. We'll see what happens.

The stupid party ought to just hand Nazi Poopsi the hammer back right now.

The GOP is the Scottish nobles from Braveheart. They are last people you want to go to battle with at your back.

It would be nice to know what actually happened, since the news is still coming-in. But at first glance, it does seem that it leaves blood in the water for Obama and his minion.

Boehner should not have put out Plan B in the first place-since Republicans had a mandate not to raise taxes on anyone-not even millionaires.

Therefore, the congressmen who listened to their constituents are not wrong-Boehner tried to ignore them, fire them from committees, etc, and his strong-arming didn’t work. The Republicans need to find out the people are serious about getting back a conservative country.

I am confused.

If boner can’t get this deal through the house, tell me how he is going to get the lousy deals you envision through the house?

I don’t get it. Most here wanted the fiscal cliff, and we are now one step closer to it. Why are so many wetting their pants over this? Like I said, I don’t get it.

Two years is a long way away. Who knows what will be happening between then and now. I predict Iran will have the bomb. I predict the deficit will be about 1500 billion a year. I predict that gold and silver will be a lot higher per ounce. I predict that there will be a serious third party forming.

Boehner has no one to blame but himself.

He tried the strongarm routine & it backfired.

So earlier we were supposed to oppose Plan B because it raised taxes and had no clear spending cuts.

Now we are supposed to be angry because we killed it?

I’m confused. Can someone make a banner of what we are supposed to think about something and keep it up to date?

Theys still have to vote for the new Speaker in January. Boehner should not think that he's a shoo-in to keep his position.

Don't be such a fatalist. A lot can still happen.

Boehner may not keep his Speakership if this continues.

House to Recess for Christmas with the Bush tax cuts for the RICH, oops, I mean Bush tax cuts for everyone to expire.

I think, let the rats own it. Let them own the increased taxes on everyone. The rats have lied for years about the current tax structure. Saying repeatedly that the Bush tax cuts were only for the “rich”.

House did good in rejecting the bill. Boehner’s fault for putting it out without any support. Tea Party is mad at Boehner.

“By defeating the Speaker tonight, the GOP delegation in the House gave him the blank check to cut lousy deals”

This makes no sense. Defeating Plan B means Boehner cannot pass a plan and is thus powerless. It’s the cliff baby...

If the Senate won’t even vote on Plan B and even if they did and it passed, Obama has said he would veto it, what was the purpose in even bringing it up?

Why not just bring Plan A up for a vote? It would face a similar fate, but at least it would PASS the House. This maneuver just makes Boehner look weak.
