The Senate is coming back on the 27th on the expectation that there is a deal by then that does not destroy the US economy. I hope they’re right.

This vote is nothing more than a “test” vote for Bonehead.
It will tell him how many RAT votes he will need from Pelosi
just as he needed RAT votes to pass the debt ceiling deal
two years ago. If I am correct, that Grand Bargain got @40
RAT Votes to pass two years ago. Would not have passed without
the RAT votes.

but if the right wing doesn’t support this Plan B thing, then there’s no chance it will, and we go over the cliff, with the last official act having been the right wing of the Republican party not supporting their own speaker who has gotten a lot of meaningful concessions out of the white house. Who will get blamed?? The people who SHOULD get blamed, US!
